A space to be curious and non-judgmental with yourself.

Hi! I’m Sarah Walsh, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in grief, loss, and trauma. Trauma and grief look and mean something different to each individual and I work with teens and adults navigating the loss of a loved one, relationship, identity, or significant life chapter. I also work with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, ADHD, and major life transitions. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, mindfulness, creative expression, and trauma-informed care in sessions. I emphasize meeting each person where they are and creating a safe place to process and heal.

Therapy with Sarah

How we will work together:

Therapy with me is collaborative. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, make space for difficult emotions, and identify what matters to you. I’ll listen, ask questions, and offer tools when they’re helpful, while respecting that you know yourself best.

Specialities:

I specialize in grief and loss, including the loss of a loved one, relationship, identity, or significant life chapter. I also work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, perfectionism, and major life transitions.

Ways We Can Work:

Therapy with me isn’t always sitting across from each other in an office. When appropriate, we can incorporate creative expression and art into our work, or take therapy outside for a walk along the nearby Greenbelt. Nature can be a beautiful and peaceful place to be curious, process, and feel.
